Notes 2025 Chapter Reality
"For us believing physicists, the separation between past, present and future has only the meaning of an illusion, albeit a persistent one." Albert Einstein
Basically a primer, exploiting the most palatable science icon yet marketed to the world. 'Einstein, the gentle genius who transformed human understanding, (and sanctioned the development of the atomic bomb)'. Credibility for those who have chosen the default OS, and a hint, a tint for those who have more of the standard narrative. "Imagination is more important than knowledge," which is legit, 3 times documented.
“I am enough of the artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” Albert Einstein, 1929 The Saturday Evening Post
This potentially less apocryphal quote replaces the oversimplified but may more direct paraphrase, "reality is an illusion, though a persistent one." We might jettison this entirely, awkward and not nearly as impactful. Or Albert Einstein (apocryphal translation)
Can this be shortened by removing "for us believing physicists" and have the rest of the german still make sense? Dirk, Sarah
"God discovered curiosity before the Clique deployed privacy." Proverb from book of Joe.
