DOG – to what end?
What inspired this rant was a snippet from Tom and Drew talking on Impact Theory about profitable projects that are components / steps towards where you want to ultimately go. I asked myself if DOG is a stage, what's my ultimate go? What Mars does DOG point towards, how do cinematic projects fund or empower ultimate narrative outcomes? Like reality creation.
This is all post script, but let's say power / agency is what is required for outcome, the touchable and tastable stage of desire. if money is really an synonym for power or say a precursor for power, then couldn't story and belief also be precursors? If folks believe, will they take more likely to achieve an outcome than if they were just paid? I pay you to achieve x, so you dedicate energy to achieve x because you want money to achieve y, but you really want y and if there's a more direct way to achieve y, then achieving x no longer matters. VS if you believe in x, you dedicate energy to x.
If folks are tuned into their desires and have a clear action plan, maybe self/family/child/community, that's where their energy flows. Beliefs about desires and plans can be accurate or otherwise. Beliefs are a very strong incentive. Stories create beliefs and vice versa. Deliberately designing our beliefs and stories, even or especially when they run counter to convention, is powerful. Counter only because a lot of beliefs are weaponized by others for control. Be deliberate about designing beliefs/stories and check if they are efficacious for achieving desire.
Along with adventures on in/on/at Theme Park Earth, what intrigues me is divinity in duality, the delicious contradiction that is human life, or at least my version. I've decamped to the dream console / gateway to continue this, in homage and recognition of that other modality that seems deeply narrative. What is my ultimate exploration, what is the end game, or should I say the start game? For if I achieved a deep virtuosity with reality design and deployment, then the game truly begins. My premise of narrative supremacy could be utter claptrap, but it's what I've got, it's my trail of breadcrumbs.
Perhaps what DOG is, is a tinkering with the whole idea of narrative and perhaps a deconstruction or reverse engineering of story, an analysis or perhaps a demonstration. This is the importance of story, how belief can be designed, optimized for usefulness and how the TPE is indeed that "single machine, 20 miles on each side" the krell built. (Forbidden Planet - American screenwriter Cyril Hume, who based his script on a screen story by American writers Irving Block and Allen Adler).
We live in an instantiation device of our own making. DOG is my exegesis of the word made flesh. The word wasn't or isn't Jesus, the word is story. Try this... in the beginning was the story, and the story became flesh - rocks, animals, sky. The world is a story we tell ourselves, and to tell a new story is to change what we experience, effectively changing reality. Nothing is impossible but we impose limitations, edges to our story. If TPE is a simulation of limitation, without which curiosity cannot exist, nor imagination. What could be beyond god? To imagine a omnipotent god, and then to imagine powers beyond god. A higher power is a cognitive onion, layers of narrative, words. We know from direct connection that god (source) is wordless, beyond name and form. So there's a sort of logic that this world would be story driven, the word made flesh, n'cest-ce pas? That which god is not, is this. We play in this story, but we also launched TPE and are able to redesign as much as we allow ourselves to.
What seems apparent is the extent of our agency here is determined by our alignment with the only energy that creates. Joy, love, excitement, inspiration. Good and evil might be loosely analogous to creative and destructive. Because is DOG there isn't good and evil, it's all awesome in the final reckoning, it's all creative. Why do I suddenly want to watch a WWII movie from the 60s? Because I have them on the other laptop? Or is there a connection here...
Early I was dreaming of a wrecked car in the lake between me and the yellow house, and there was a giant wall of unrolled yellow insulation with mirrored backing hanging down. I had some thoughts about all that, "whose car, my responsibility or theirs?" Doing something important, needful out there. The dream console, napping in broad daylight.
I could chastise myself for my life choices, like napping or "what are you doing inside on such a lovely day, and what about all your obligations and commitments - yada, yada." Yet I am trying to devise my master plan, the puzzle of what is worth being/doing/having. Desires and the adventures they imply.
This riff was inspired by Tom Bilyeu's live stream today. [videodownloadhelper -> Davinci Resolve -> create snippet -> upload to server -> insert video here] That would have been the digression. What a world. Mostly what I am doing is for me and others get to ride along. Let's set up the podcast studio in the home, in the music zone? Kids would be elsewhere or else easy storage under the loft. Hassle to constantly redeploy. Whatevs.
