Somewhere, perhaps not on why.movie, I had a link to Picard explaining how the Enterprise came to be. First Contact, Picard "The economics of the future are somewhat different. This fits into the script somewhere, along with Jack Kruse and cells radiating ultraviolet. I understand that in 10 years these ideas will be familiar, no big deal, but they are pointing to poetry, true north on the narrative compass.
